Hoe we bewijs graderen

Elke claim op deze site draagt een van vijf labels. Dit is precies wat ze betekenen.

  • Sterk bewijs

    Robuust, meerdere studies of consensus van toezichthouders.

  • Opkomend bewijs

    Een echt signaal, maar betwist of nog niet sluitend.

  • Zwak bewijs

    Beperkt of indirect bewijs, of overdreven kopcijfers.

  • Onbewezen

    Plausibel, maar geen onderbouwend bewijs bij mensen.

  • Ontkracht

    Een populaire claim die het bewijs tegenspreekt.

Onze uitgangspunten

  • We scheiden plasticdeeltjes van plastic-gerelateerde chemicaliën, het bewijs verschilt sterk.
  • Detectie is geen schade. Deeltjes in het lichaam vinden is niet hetzelfde als bewijzen dat ze ziekte veroorzaken.
  • We citeren primair onderzoek en toezichthouders, en markeren populaire cijfers die niet standhouden.
  • Dit is educatie, geen medisch advies.
