Hoe we bewijs graderen
Elke claim op deze site draagt een van vijf labels. Dit is precies wat ze betekenen.
Sterk bewijs
Robuust, meerdere studies of consensus van toezichthouders.
Opkomend bewijs
Een echt signaal, maar betwist of nog niet sluitend.
Zwak bewijs
Beperkt of indirect bewijs, of overdreven kopcijfers.
Onbewezen
Plausibel, maar geen onderbouwend bewijs bij mensen.
Ontkracht
Een populaire claim die het bewijs tegenspreekt.
Onze uitgangspunten
- We scheiden plasticdeeltjes van plastic-gerelateerde chemicaliën, het bewijs verschilt sterk.
- Detectie is geen schade. Deeltjes in het lichaam vinden is niet hetzelfde als bewijzen dat ze ziekte veroorzaken.
- We citeren primair onderzoek en toezichthouders, en markeren populaire cijfers die niet standhouden.
- Dit is educatie, geen medisch advies.
